Easter's comin'

-Everything looks so dead & brown at the end of winter - but Easter's comin'.

-My garden looks like it will need a lot of work to get ready for spring planting - but Easter's comin'.

-The old place looks so rundown; the house needs paint, the outbuildings are falling down, and the lawn looks like a junkyard - but Easter's comin'.

-I'm living in the mess that I made for myself. Nothing is working for me anymore-but Easter's comin'.

-School seems to drag on so long in these late winter & early spring days - but Easter's comin'.

-I wish I could find a better job: a job I like, that pays better, that doesn't make my shoulders ache so much, that had a better schedule so I could see my family more. It probably won't happen - but Easter's comin'.

-I never dreamed that I'd reach this stage in life. My health has always been unstable, so I didn't expect to live this long. Now I suppose I'll have to do something with my life.., but Easter's comin'.

-With my husband gone, I just feel so lonely. My children call and visit when they can, but I'm still so depressed. Sometimes I wish I could die and be done with all this - but Easter's comin'.

Maybe it sounds like a trite cliche, but the fact that "Easter's comin"' is what provides hope to all of us no matter what our situation in life may be.

In Christ,
