Psalm 98:4 “Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises!

Psalm 98 says it perfectly.  For all our Lord has done for us and our salvation, for the joy that dwells within us to know the love of Jesus.  Let us join together in song with voices and instruments and make a joyful noise to the Lord, and celebrate His love for us.

We here at Good Shepherd believe that praising our Lord is important and joyful.  Part of praising is the use of music and we would like to offer you opportunities to praise God for all His goodness.

Anyone who enjoys singing is welcome to join this group as it is designed for children through adults. The group sings for selected services during the church year. This group likes to bring different types of music to the ears of the congregation from contemporary to traditional music. The director, Jan Altemeier, works hard to bring different musical arrangements to keep things interesting and fun.

Good Shepherd is proud of the Shepherd Ringers bell choir which provides special music for services. Whether you can read music or not, you are welcome to join the bell choir. Shepherd Ringers come together to have fun and praise our Lord through music.

Both of these groups practice on Wednesday nights starting in September.  Shepherd Ringers begin at 6 p.m. and Family Singers start at 7 p.m.
